Reflection

This unit was identifying solutions. We had to identify solutions by adding another liquid or solid. Also we can identify solutions by filter them, burning them or we can put something like litmus paper or Ph paper. To prepare for the test, in this unit we had to memorize a lot of things. We had to memorize ammonium +H20, calcium chloride +H20, calcium carbonate +vinegar and sodium carbonate +vinegar and many other reactions. They were very hard to memorize, but soon it became easier.
Before test, I was kind of nervous because I didn’t prepare for test very well. So I wasn’t sure what my partner and I had to do. Bu during the test my feeling was better because the test was very fun. However when we realized we were doing wrong, my head was confused and I didn’t know what to do. So I was kind of annoyed by myself. Also when I finished the test, I was kind of afraid that my score might be very low.
The most exciting part of the test was when I put some vinegar in some solutions and it reacted. It was very interesting because it reacted with some bubbles and eruption. So I felt like if I was a real scientist.
The most difficult part of the test was when I and my partner ruined our work. I was very confused and didn’t know what to do. Also it would take a long time to redo it because we had to do it all over again. So it was really difficult part. The worst but when we made mistake for second time. We didn’t memorize the whole thing and forgot some, so we had to guess which was which.
To improve my performance, I think all I have to do is teamwork and memorize and understand. Because we made a same mistake for 3 times because there wasn’t enough teamwork and I didn’t study very much. Also I had to understand the test so that I will know what to do if we made a mistake. So next time, I think I have to memorize what I have learned and understand the task and have enough teamwork.
